Question by chiorboy1986: if my tv has a digital tuner what do I need to receive reception after the dtv conversion?
I have a Vizio flat screen lcd television, and I know it has a digital tuner. However, with the switch taking place in less than 60 days, do I still need a converter box? Or do I just don’t connect anything but an antenna?

If your set has a digital (ATSC) tuner built in, then you are all set. All you need is a good quality, properly installed antenna and you could be enjoying free Over The Air digital TV tonight. A lot of it will be HD, too.
The converter boxes are a digital tuner and an analog down converter for old analog sets. A modern digital set will have the right stuff built in.
